Superbook Bible Cartoon Series Returns, New and Updated for 2013

superbookI was so excited when I found out Superbook was returning to television. I remember watching the original series when I was a kid, and I knew my boys would love it.

Superbook is a cartoon series that brings Bible stories to life, retelling them through the eyes of kids Chris, Joy and their robot Gizmo. Together they travel back to Bible times. It originally aired in the early 1980s, but now it’s been completely re-imagined and updated for a new generation.

The boys watched several episodes of the new Superbook on DVD this week. I’ll have a more in-depth review coming soon, but I can tell you my boys really like it. And I was impressed with how accurately the stories are told.

Starting this Monday, July 1st – July 5th, your family can watch new Superbook episode on ABC Family every day at 9:30 a.m. Vist CBN for more information about air dates.

If you want the Superbook DVDs for yourself, you can join the Superbook DVD Club. You’ll receive a DVD every time a new episode of Superbook becomes available, about every 4-6 weeks. The cost is $25 each time, but for $25 you’ll get three copies of the DVD. One for your family and two to give away. Your $25 gift is tax-deductible.

Be sure to check out the new Superbook episodes on ABC Family next week. I really think your kids will love them!

Disclosure: I received the Superbook DVDs  as part of a promotional program with CBN and MomSelect.
