Jelly Bean Gospel Easter Egg Craft

If you grew up going to Sunday School, there’s a good chance you were introduced to The Wordless Book, a blank book that uses colors to tell the Salvation story. This Jelly Bean Gospel Easter egg craft is based on that idea.

Easter Craft Jelly Bean GospelThis is so simple to make. Even small children can help. Just place one black, red, white, yellow and green jelly bean in each egg along with a cross and the paper explaining what the colors mean.

As you select each jelly bean talk about what the color means and read the verse that goes with each color. If you’re doing this with older kids have them take turns looking up and reading the verses. Besides sharing the Easter story with your kids, you’re also showing them an easy way they can share the gospel themselves with friends.

Made up ahead of time I think these would also make a nice little Easter gift for students if you teach a class at church.

Oh, and what do you do with all those other colors of jelly beans? Eat them, of course!
