I’m not a die hard bargain shopper that goes out of my way to find all the best deals. But when I accidentally happen across a great bargain, I snap it up. Although I really have to give the credit to my husband for this one.
We were at the mall the other night, and of course our son David wanted to go into the Disney Store. We were about to escape the store with out buying anything when my husband Dave found this in the clearance section.
It was marked down to $8, and David loves Lightening McQueen. So we gave in and decided to buy it for him. To our surprise it rang up for only $5!
It’s a huge backpack with several compartments. It will hold everything David needs for a weekend at Grandma’s house.
David was happy because he got something from the Disney store, and we were happy because we got something actually useful. Not just another toy.
Great deal! I love the Disney store, but unless it’s on clearance I can’t afford it.
You really can find some great bargains at the Disney store, as you proved. You just have to look hard and often. I love the wrench zipper pull – so typical of Disney’s attention to detail.
I found a High School Musical lunchbox at the Disney Store last week for $2!! I snagged that too. Love to find a great deal.

when i was decorating jack’s nursery (winnie the pooh theme) i was scouring the thrift & consignment stores for some decor “extras” – I scored an awesome disney store “winnie the pooh & piglet” statue thing. I only paid 25 cent for it, and it had an original retail price of $18.00. I was quite happy. 😀
