I went to the OBGYN today for my last monthly appointment. It’s hard to believe I’m starting the every two week appointments already.
I mean this is really happening. We’re having another baby. And soon!
The doctor gave me good news when he told my 3 hour glucose test came back normal. No gestational diabetes, and I won’t be subjected to anymore blood letting. At least for a little while.
My blood pressure is normal, my weight gain is right on (is there other time in a woman’s life that she’s actually happy about gaining 17 pounds?), my ankles aren’t swollen, and I can even still get my rings on and off.
It also seems that my C-Section vs. VBAC dilemma has solved itself. Little Wade appears to be as stubborn as his older brother, and at this time is still sitting up in the breach position. There is the possibility that he could flip over yet, but I’ve had a feeling for a while now that he won’t. A mother’s instinct you know.
So, at any rate, I’ve decided to settle on the scheduled C-section. Wade’s arrival is tentatively scheduled for June 3rd at this point.
I’m feeling better and sleeping better than I was a month ago.
For now, all is right is my little world. I’m going to enjoy it before it gets turned upside down in 11 weeks!
I’m glad your test came back normal and that everything is on schedule! Wow! The little one is coming soon. Enjoy spending one on one time with your first one while you can.
Sounds like things are going well. I’m so happy the glucose test came back normal! Enjoy these last few weeks!
Hooray for negative tests! Lol. Congrats also on getting an official eviction date. It does make it seem so much more realistic, doesn’t it? 🙂
Yea, glad to hear your test went well. I’ll be praying for you and I can’t wait to see little Wade.
