A Poem for my Sons

Posted on April 1, 2009March 3, 2017

My husband wrote this poem last night. Just wanted to share it with you.

A Poem for my Sons

Little nose and little toes
Wonder where the day goes
First today then tomorrow
One year two years three years follow
Soon your arms and legs don’t fit
In the blanket that’s been knit
By loving hands for nine months long
Waiting for your birthday song
Your song of crying saying I am here
What joy and love that day I still hold dear
You scooted crawled walked then ran
And soon someday you’ll be a man
Little nose and little toes
Wonder where the day goes
First today then tomorrow
One year two years three years follow
