Look Who’s Two Months Old

Posted on July 19, 2009March 3, 2017

Wade was two months old on the tenth.

Yeah, I told you I was a little behind.

I took  few photos for posterity.

Here’s Wade having some tummy time. David loves to get down on the floor with him, and talk to him. I don’t have to worry about keeping Wade entertained when David is around. I just have to make sure David doesn’t get overly enthusiastic and end up accidentally hurting him.

Wade has his two month check-up at the doctor last Thursday. He weighed in at 11 lbs. 1 oz. And he is 22 1/2 inches long now. One more pound and he will have doubled his birth weight. He’s a light-weight compared to David at this age. At two months David was already 13 lbs! I remember that I had to pack up David’s 0-3 months clothes about that time. Last week I bought David some new shorts and had to get a size 7! He’s only 4 and 1/2. He’ll be as tall as me pretty soon.

It seems like some sort of switch went off when Wade turned two months, because all of a sudden he started sleeping better. You might recall my complaining a week or so ago about how tired I was. Now he’s sleeping about four hours at a time at night, and he goes right back to sleep after eating. I’m feeling much more rested now.
