The weather was crazy warm warm here this week. It was in the mid-80’s today and yesterday. That’s unheard of this time of year around here. I remember that the last few Easters we had snow on the ground still.
Welcome back global warming!
I seriously have no problem with Michigan’s climate suddenly becoming tropical.
Since it was such a lovely day, we decided to enjoy the record high temperatures, and drove to Lake Michigan tonight for dinner and a walk along the beach.
It was windy, and the waves were splashing over the pier. I love to watch the lake when it’s choppy like that.
David was at Grandma’s house, but we took Wade with us. It was his first trip to the Big Lake.
I took this photo this evening of the pier at South Haven.
Isn’t it beautiful?
This is the kind of thing that makes enduring all those yucky Michigan winters worth it.
Beautiful picture! It makes me miss the beach town I grew up in.
