Crush

Posted on December 14, 2010December 14, 2010

David: Mommie, know what? When I grow up I’m gonna marry Paige.

Me: You are? Did you ask Paige about that?

David: I told her.

Me: And what did she say?

David: I don’t know.

Me: Then how do you know she wants to marry you?

David: Because she holds my hand, and blows kisses to me.

Me: I think you’re a little young for that. Where do you hold hands?

David: In the lunch line, and the line waiting to get on the bus.

Me: Did the teacher see you?

David: No.

Me: You know, the teacher might get after you if she sees you.

David: Yeah, but we’re sneaky.

Me: Five years old and sneaking around with girls already? God help me. Who started the hand holding? You or her?

David: She did.

Me: Isn’t she in your Sunday School class too?

David: Yeah.

Me: Well, at least it’s a nice girl from church.

@Deborah, That’s OK. This girl is much nicer.

@Colleen, That’s right. You did mention in the post that she is from your church. A little forward, though, as she initiated the hand holding.

LOL at “at least it’s a nice girl from church.” Hilarious. I found out that Buddy got a kiss from a little girl on the playground. Then I found out that she kissed five boys in total. I may have called her a hussy on my blog. 😉

I don’t know what I’m going to do when my girls start talking like this. I know all kids do it, but my hubby might have aneurism if he hears it! LOL

    Stopping by from SITS 🙂

Too cute. My kids never got into that when they were young. Now that they are older, they just are not telling me.
