Are You a Closet Phineas and Ferb Fan?

Posted on May 23, 2011April 4, 2013

It’s been a busy last few days, so here’s a re-post of an oldie but a goodie.

Come on, admit it. You like the show just as much as your kids. Having trouble coming forward? Ask yourself these questions.

Signs You’re a(n Adult) Phineas and Ferb Fan

1. Have you ever considered changing your Political Views on your Facebook Profile to Antidisestablishmentarianism?

2. Have ever found yourself watching Phineas and Ferb during nap time because you “forgot” to change the channel?

3. Do the words to “Squirrels in my Pants” play over and over in your head?

4. Do you actually know which one is Phineas and which one is Ferb?

5. Have you ever quoted Phineas and Ferb to someone?

6. Have you looked to see if the soundtrack to Phineas and Ferb is available on Amazon or for download to your iPod?

7. Do you root for Jeremy and Candice to end up together just like Rachel and Ross?

8. Do you chuckle every time you here, “Mom, Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence?”

9. Did you DVR the Phineas and Ferb Christmas special, because, you know, you didn’t what the kids to miss it? Ahem.

10. Have you ever looked at your family pet, and wondered if it leads a secret agent double life?

Hmm… Can’t say that I’ve ever heard of Phineas and Ferb, but I don’t have kids. I do have a terrible habit of finding myself enthralled by something on the Disney Channel every once in a while, though. Like in a guilty, “I shouldn’t really be watching The Suite Life” kind of way.

    Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest!

Yes…..yes I am. I can answer yes to every question on your list. I have to add that sometimes P&F (we are close personal friends, so I call them by their first letter nicknames!) come on at around 2am, and sometimes, I watch it. All by myself. While my kid is obviously asleep!

I think I might need help!

Stopping by from SITS because I saw the title of your post and I am absolutely a Phineas and Ferb fan. LUUUV it. So glad I have a child so that I could discover it’s crude and awesome humor. Let’s dance until we’re sick!

As soon as I saw this link on SITS I HAD to come over. I am sooooo guilty of all those things. My favourite’s are when Perry bursts into Doofenschmirtz lair without his fedora and the Doof goes ‘A platypus???’ and then Perry throws his hat on and he goes ‘PERRY THE PLATYPUS!!!’ Bahahaha

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!!!!

Hahaha, yes… yes I am. My husband even has the theme song as his ringer. This morning, the kids wanted to watch it on netflix, and as it came on, my 5yo yelled ‘Mom, your show is starting!’. Especially love Perry! =)

    “Dr. Wexler, you’re a platypus!”

Greatest line in a TV show, animated or not, ever.

I’m proud to be a P&F fan. My husband and I watch an episode on Netflix after the kids go to bed.

Totally rooting for Jeremy and Candice. AND I have a son named Phinneas (two n’s) so that’s another reason to love the show!

Oh yes I am! In fact, Phineas, Ferb, and Agent P are the my online “nicknames” for my kids. Agent P doesn’t fit my littlest so much since he potty trained (although he can still growl like him), but my two little “inventors” still fit–one smart and gregorious, and the other the quiet one who helps the oldest bring his plans to fruition. (No roller coasters in the backyard yet…but it’ll happen).
