Last week our family spent the day at Michigan’s Adventure near Muskegon.
Here are the boys and my SIL who also came along.
What a great place, and wow, how it’s changed since my husband and I were last there 12 years ago! Now owned by Cedar Fair, the company behind Cedar Point, Michigan’s Adventure is full-fledged amusement park with something for the whole family.
David’s favorite part was the Wild Water Adventure water park. Beach Party is the newest attraction at the water park.
The water park also has play areas for smaller children, and several large water slides for big kids and adults.
The biggest, fastest roller coaster in the park is Thunderhawk.
My husband and I love roller coasters, and this one was a pretty good ride. I was pleasantly surprised to find a roller coaster this size at Michigan’s Adventure.
They have lots of rides that are Wade’s size too.
Like other Cedar Fair parks Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang are the park mascots.
Michigan’s Adventure is good amusement park for families with young children. The medium size means you can get to all the attractions without a lot of walking. Lines weren’t long, and there’s a good mix of big and small rides to entertain everybody. Tickets are just $26 a person, and include admission to the water park. Children two and under are free.
We’re Stay-Cationing in West Michigan all summer long. It’s a great place to visit. When it’s not snowing.
Thanks for this! We vacation up in Michigan at my husband’s family’s little cottage near Paw Paw, and we love visiting new towns. We’ll put this on the list. 🙂
