It’s getting cold outside here in Michigan. Our first snow fell last week. This is the time of year when I start dressing David in layers, especially when I send him off to school. He needs to be warm enough for recess outside, but still comfortable in the classroom. If he gets hot he can take a layer off.
This outfit I purchased for David from cookieskids.com recently is perfect for winter school days:
David’s favorite color is orange, and this Nautica sweater really brings out the blue in his eyes. It was reasonably priced at just $19.99.
The cargo pants are Urban Extreme Twill Chill. I picked these because they’re made of extra heavy duty fabric. Hopefully they won’t get holes in the knees. They were also well-priced at $12.99. Cookies Kids has lots of name brand jeans to choose from as well including Guess, Levi and U.S. Polo Association. I picked cargo pants for David since he has a lot of jeans already.

The Rocawear shirt goes great with the sweater, and looks nice on it’s own too. It has a cool detail on the sleeves that lets you roll them up if you want.
David’s favorite part of this shirt is the skull on the back. Honestly, I’m not really big on skull and cross bones, but I didn’t see that detail on the shirt online. This shirt was the most expensive item at $24.99, but I think we’ll get a lot of use out it.
