Baked french fries are a simple, healthy way to make hot, crispy fresh-cut french fries at home. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. Seasoned or salted. You don’t have to go to a steakhouse to get them, and you don’t have to settle for frozen, processed fries at home.
These are so easy to make at home, and healthy because they’re baked not fried.
Wash your potatoes. Peel them or leave the skin on. Cut into french fries. A french fry cutter makes quick work of it. Mine’s kind of old-fashioned. You can find more modern ones that are even easier to use.
In a large bowl toss fries with just enough olive oil to coat. Place on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Season with salt or for a kick kids really like season with Lawry’s. Bake in a 350 degree oven 20-30 minutes or until tender. To crisp place under the boiler 2 minutes or until they just start to brown.
Mmm…
That fry is just begging for some ketchup.
I hope you enjoy some baked french fries soon!
