If you ask me what my favorite beverage is I’ll answer without hesitation: coffee. There is something about the smell, the bold flavor and the ritual of drinking if from my favorite mug that is comforting.
I drink it to wake up, to stay awake, to relax, to treat myself.
I drink it black. I drink it with sugar and skim milk. I drink it with flavored creamer. I drink flavored coffee mixes. I drink lattes, espressos and cappuccinos from the coffee shop.
I drink it hot, iced or blended.
I never met a Cup of Joe I didn’t like.
Christmas came early for me when a few days before a big box filled with three half-gallon cartons of International Delight Iced Coffee arrived on my door step.
I may have squealed a little when I opened the box. I haven’t been this excited about a new product in a long time.
Yum, yum and yum!!!!!
I tried the Mocha flavor first, because chocolate is a close contender with coffee for my affections.
It was delicious and creamy in my favorite mug.
Then I tried the Vanilla in a nice tall glass filled with ice.
What a refreshing pick me up. This would be fantastic pool-side on a hot summer day. And so easy. Just take it out of the fridge and pour!
I spruced up the Original with whipped cream, sprinkles and a candy cane. Ta-da! A dessert coffee in 10 seconds. I would serve this to guests, or just treat myself.
I also experimented a bit, and warmed up the International Delight Iced Coffee in the microwave. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of the iced part, but some days I just want a hot drink. Like today when it’s 17 degrees outside. It was still delicious and soothingly warm. And still very easy.
Mocha is definitely my favorite flavor, but Original and Vanilla are yummy too. Like I mentioned above, I just happen to be partial to chocolate.
I love that International Delight Iced Coffee so easy. Take it out of the fridge, add ice if to a cup if you want, and pour. I have two little boys. Sometimes in the morning when I’m trying to get them ready it’s hard to find even a few minutes to get the coffee maker going. Having this in the fridge on busy days would be a life saver. If I don’t get my coffee before 9 a.m. it isn’t pretty.
The Iced Coffee comes in a half-gallon carton so it stores well in the fridge. I really like that it has a screw top for mess-free pouring, and it re-seals tight to keep it fresh.
International Delight iced coffee is also a convenient afternoon pick-me-up and treat for me during my “alone” time while my two-year old naps and my six-year-old is at school. I often curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee and watch something on the DVR. I live 20 minutes from the nearest coffee shop. As much as I’d love a latte every day, I just cant get there. Also, the cost of all those coffee shop drinks add up. International Delight Iced Coffee saves a trip and saves money.
Starting mid-January you’ll be able to find International Delight Iced Coffee in your grocery store. Pick up a carton and see how simple and tasty it is for yourself.
