When this historic March heat wave hit last week I dug through David and Wade’s closets looking for shorts and t-shirts for them to wear. I realized quickly that they’d outgrown or worn out most of their clothes from last summer. Both of them needed whole new wardrobes for summer.
Keeping two fast-growing, rough-and-tumble boys in clothes can be expensive, but Loobalee.com, a mom-to-mom re-sale website, can help keep the cash in your wallet. Loobalee was founded by mom Susan Rielle who wanted to provided a better way for moms to shop online for quality re-sale children’s clothing.
I spent some time browsing around Loobalee and checking out how the site works.
Loobalee Makes Shopping Simple
1. Loobalee isn’t an auction site. All prices are fixed. I think that simplifies the shopping process. There’s no sitting there watching as the prices goes up and up, trying to decide if you want to pay more. If there is an item you like you can place it in your shopping cart, and hold it for three hours. This gives you some time to think about your purchase, and not buy impulsively.
2. The clothing is well-organized, and it was easy to find what I was looking for. You can chose boy or girl, then refine you search by size, category, and style. You can even search by specific brand, seller or condition of the clothing.
3. Loobalee features an online shopping cart checkout like most major retailers. It’s simple to use the familiar format, and you can pay with all major credit cards as well as with your Paypal account.
Shopping Loobalee for quality re-sale kid’s clothing is a great way to save money, but you can also make some money. You can list your own kid’s outgrown clothes for sale.
Selling on Loobalee is Simple and FREE
1. The best thing about selling on Loobalee is that it’s absolutely free. There aren’t any fees of any kind for the the seller! It sounds too good to be true, but it’s not. I looked for the fine print, and there isn’t any. It’s totally free.
2. The listing process is very simple. It just takes a few clicks. All listings are standardized to contain the same details to ensure that listing show up in proper search categories.
3. As the seller you’re in control. You set the prices for your items, and you can choose to sell them individually, in sets or as lots.
I didn’t find anything to purchase on Loobalee.com this time, but I’m going to keep checking back since new items are added all the time. It’s hard to find good quality re-sale boy’s clothing, and when it is available it goes fast! There was a big selection of girl’s and infant’s clothing available.
I’m also going to go through all the boy’s out-grown clothes to see what I can list for sale. It’s free, so it’s definitely worth trying out. What is there to lose?
This month there are two special promotions featured on Loobalee.com. The first is March Madness. Every day one designer New With Tags item is discounted at a price between $1-$5. (Valued at $20 – $120)
The other March promotion is a Pin to Win contest. Simply follow at leat one of Loobalee’s Pinterest boards, then pin an item from there site to one of your boards. You could win a $350 kid’s spring wardrobe!
