The cat. Our poor, old geriatric cat. He’s lived his nine lives and then some. Currently he’s enduring his second go-round with a three-year old boy. He’s a very patient feline.
My son was the same way at this age–our cat was so old but he would carry it around and dump him in boxes, laundry baskets, etc. I was constantly on edge about it—he thought it was more like a toy than a living creature. Poor kitty! Love the humor in your blog! Glad I found you through the hop, and am now following you via email subscription under the name Marciakesterdoyle. Would LOVE it if you could visit my humorous blog site and follow back via GFC or any other convenient way. Thanks for sharing!
Super funny. Our pets were also furry toys to us, we loved them so much and they patiently allowed us our fun. At age 2, my sister tried flushing our very old dog down the toilet… poor thing.
We have a two-year-old chocolate lab named Ruby who is absolutely the best with the kids. I’ve caught my 6-year-old and his friends riding her like a horse (thank God she’s as strong as one!)
