Seriously. Everybody gets so excited for Memorial Day. What’s the big deal? Oh, yeah. You get that day off work.

  1. That is so true about the holidays! I will say though that I don’t do much housework, other than what is necessary, on those Monday holidays. Love the pictures!

  2. Stopping by from Saturday SHAREFEST… I can relat, when I lost my job I had to stay home, so I’ve been on both sides and either way, a day off is still home with the kids…not really a day off, LOL

    Enjoy the weekend.

  3. Haha, this is so true! Although I do look forward to the Monday holidays during the school year. It means I’ll have my oldest home to help out! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Laundry is NEVER ever caught up. ๐Ÿ™‚ I swear I try and I try, but it never lasts for more than a few minutes if I’m lucky. This past week I was so proud of the fact that I had been keeping the dirty laundry down to one basket a day… then low and behold my lovely husband decides to clean out his office and deep clean our bedroom. Guess what happened… I ended up with another 2 (TWO) baskets worth of laundry from him going on a cleaning spree because the rest of the house was clean.
(His office and our bedroom is his primary domain in the house so I leave those areas to him for him to clean up.)

  5. Oh, laundry is always horrible, and yoga pants always save the day! I swear, if I put on jeans, it’s an extra special day! Of course, most days, it’s special to leave the house (even going to Target!). I saw this funny (and oh so true) post over @ https://affimity.com/#/sharedPost/7/9784 and I know a few ladies who can also relate, so I am sharing this around! Thank you for some great humor!
