Baked meatballs are the star of this dish that will turn your kitchen into your favorite Italian bistro, and it’s a super simple meal you put together in about 30 minutes. We get a little help from store-bought pasta and pasta sauce. You can also make the meatballs ahead of time and get dinner on the table even faster in the evening.

Favorite Jarred Pasta Sauce
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
1 1/2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Boil water for pasta. In a large bowl mix together ground beef, parmesan, egg, basil, parsley, garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes and bread crumbs.
You want to mix until well-combined.
Kneading the ingredients together with your hands it the best way to mix it.
Coat a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray. Divide meat mixture and roll into 12 evenly shaped meatballs. Place in muffin tin and bake for 20 minutes. Boil pasta and warm up spaghetti sauce.
Remove meatballs from oven and drain on paper towels. Serve with pasta and sauce.
You can also make the meatballs ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
