David has two pairs of glasses now that we took advantage of the JCPenney Optical Back 2 School promotion. Why does a ten-year-old boys need two pairs of glasses? Well, because ten-year-old boys are rough on eye wear.
David started wearing glasses about a year and half ago, and he’s already on his third pair. The last time David’s glasses broke, he went two weeks without them while we waited for the replacements to arrive. Without his glasses he can’t read the board or see the teacher at school. I wanted an extra pair to have on hand for not if, but when, the next accident happens.
The deal at JCPenny Optical was too good to pass up. I purchased a complete pair of designer eyeglasses for David for just $29.99. That included select Kids’ frames up to $120, FREE impact & scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses, FREE UV protection and a FREE eyeglass protection plan for any school-aged child 16 & under. I think that’s a pretty amazing deal.
JCPenney’s Back 2 School Collection has variety of trendy frames and styles. The selection was big enough that we had no problem finding a frame that was $120 or less. You’re sure to find something that will fit your child’s unique style. David tried out several and finally settled on the Converse frames.
The frame David initially liked was a little too small for him, but the store associates were able to find a similar one that fit him better. Once he made his final choice, it just took a few minutes to complete the order process. I really wanted to stick to the $29.99 budget, and I appreciated that the associates didn’t try to pressure me into spending more on upgrades.
David loves his new glasses, and we have one big item checked off our back to school shopping list.
