DIY, Rustic Advent Candle Display

Posted on November 30, 2016February 25, 2017

This rustic Advent candle display is easy to re-create in your own home.

What you’ll need:

  • A white, rectangular serving platter
  • Four small mason jars
  • Set of LED Tealight Advent Candles
  • Set of Evergreen branches
  • Red berries

For me, the LED candles are the most important element, because I don’t have to worry about the boys or the dog knocking them over and burning the house down. I found them on Amazon. The white Better Homes and Gardens platter is from Walmart and will get good use as a serving dish the rest of the year. I already had the mason jars and the evergreen branches and wild rose hips are from my backyard. You can also use artificial greenery and berries. You can  find all the elements for this on Amazon by following the links above.

All you need to do is put the candles in the jars, place them on the platter and arrange the greenery and berries around the edge. It’s probably the easiest Christmas decoration you’ll display this year, and it’s a lovely way to celebrate Advent at home.

Very pretty! I wonder if you could place it on a pallet board plank, esp. since you use the LED tealights not the real kind that would (gasp) catch pallet wood on fire. 🙂
