Easter candy is my favorite, because it’s just so pretty in its may pastel shades. Add to it all the cute bunny, egg and chick shapes it comes in, and it’s just irresistible. This adorable little bird with her nest of eggs is made with classic Easter candy. It’s easy enough for kids to make, and they can even eat it if they want.
Here’s what you’ll need:
The frosting is the glue that holds everything on the Graham cracker base.
First you’ll want to make the nest.
Put a blob of frosting on one end of the graham cracker. Start adding the Twizzlers, layering them into a nest shape. They naturally stick to each other. If you twist them together and tuck the ends under in a few spots, you’ll get a more realistic looking nest.
After your nest is shaped the way you want, put another dab of frosting in the middle it, then add the eggs.
Finally, put a dab of frosting on the other end of you graham cracker to hold the mama bird in place.
It’s just that easy, and the kids will love this!
Have a happy Easter!
